It is a great honor for Variuscard that Managing Director Michael Dorner has been elected as new Vice President of the ICMA. This is a big step and a clear sign that our outstanding expertise in the field of plastic cards and smart cards is appreciated and well known far beyond the country’s borders.
In this new position, Michael Dorner will also be responsible for the acquisition of new ICMA members as vice president, working with other personalization companies, manufacturers and suppliers worldwide, but especially in the US and Europe. Decades of experience ensure that also other card manufacturers seek advice from us and that Michael Dorner has been selected for this important position.
Visiting this year’s ICMA Expo, Michael Dorner talked about changes in the card industry and explained what card manufacturers need to know about the digital major shift.
“Sometimes you must change everything completely,… I don’t think that’s the case with our industry yet, but it’s important to create complementary products.
