Since the 11th of December 2018 the Bundesmuseen Card is for sale. As manufacturer and supplier of the online-based system solution, we are particularly proud of this prestigious project for the Federal Museums in Vienna. With VariusSystems, the status of the annual ticket can be viewed online by the cardholder himself, the open day ticket can be validated at the cash desk in the museum without additional hard- or software and administrators can analyze all sales figures at any time.

Customers can view the current status of their Bundesmuseen Card with an NFC-enabled smartphone.
Cash-desk
Employees at the cash-desk can print cards live at the point of sale and validate the cards.
Entrance
Employees at the Entrance only can validate the cards
Administrators
Administrators have the permission to view and edit everything.

Loyalty Card administration live and online

A solution has been developed for the Bundesmuseen Card, which allows annual passes to be deducted from the 8 participating museums without the need for additional hardware or software. The customers themselves can view their data with their personal login and always know which museum entry is still open and how long the card is still valid. This web-based solution saves the KHM-Museumsverband several thousand Euros compared to a system to be integrated in 8 museums.
