Whether short runs in digital printing or security printing with UV fluorescent ink in 6-color UV offset printing. We have all the printing technologies in our house and can therefore implement your wishes quickly and flexibly.

Plastic card printing, which printing methods are used

Digital printing

For smaller runs and for card personalization the digital printing process is used. Especially for cards with high security standards, it is advisable to apply the personalization under a protective laminate layer. This is only possible in digital printing.

Offset printing

For large print runs, the classic offset printing process is the most suitable in plastic card printing. Thus, large numbers of gift cards or unpersonalized loyalty cards or ID cards can be produced economically.

Thermotransfer printing

Thermal transfer printing is used to personalize cards with lower security standards. The process is perfect for loyalty cards and is also used in Evolis portable card printers.

Screen printing

Screen printing allows the use of special colors and special materials. In addition to cardboard and plastic, textiles and wood are also suitable as printable materials. Various special paints such as fragrance varnish or relief varnish as well as metallic colors with metal pigments provide exceptional effects in plastic card printing. The screen printing process is also used for security prints and rubbish fields. We can print both solvent-based and UV-drying.

Offset

MAN Roland 506 UV, IR, hot air

Number of colors: 6 + UV-Lack
Sheet-size: 70 x 50cm
Paper thickness: to 1.2mm substrate thickness
Material: paper, cardboard, plastic-sheet

This machine can be used for card production universally; Special formats, special thicknesses and special finishing techniques are also possible (UV varnish gloss / matt, metallic). The machine dispose two spot colors and / or primer as well as an automatic measurement and calibration system for constant coloring.

Digital-Offset

MGI Meteor DP60

Number of colors: 4 CMYK
Format: 35 x 100cm
Thickness: up to 0.3mm material thickness
Material: Paper, cardboard, plastic

This complete digital production machine enables 100% variable printing. This makes it perfect for personalizing letters as well as sub-laminate personalization of bar code, name or photo ID on cards. This machine is also used for short runs and pattern prints. A feed table allows accurate printing up to 0.2mm – a special feature of the MGI Meteor DP60.

This semi-automatic screen printing machine is suitable for the printing of special colors for smaller runs. Even substrates up to a thickness of 50mm can be printed.
