The MIFARE® chip family from NXP Semiconductors offers a wide range of contactless chips with worldwide application. Whether for ID cards, loyalty cards, micropayment, NFC stickers or communication between smartphone and reader – MIFARE® chips are used for secure identification of objects or people.

Main products that are processed at VARIUSCARD are MIFARE Classic®, MIFARE® DESFire®, NTAG®, and MIFARE Ultralight® chip series. With the opening of NFC also on Apple smartphones now NTAG® NFC chips can be used area-wide.
